Kanye West Secret Show Extravaganza in NYC!

If you’ve ever watched the movie Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist that came out back in 2008, then you are familiar with the secret Where’s Fluffy show that had New York City running around in circles.

Early Monday morning, from 1am-4am, Kanye West was Where’s Fluffy.

At around 1:00 am, a mob of Kanye West fans filled the streets of lower Manhattan after an announcement of a secret show would be in NYC following G.O.O.D. Music’s set at Summer Jam. It was confirmed, by a G.O.O.D. Music affiliate, that the performance was going to be at Webster Hall following Vic Mensa’s make-up show for his cancelled set on the final day of Governor’s Ball where Kanye was scheduled to perform as well.

Kanye’s 1:02 am tweet was an understatement as thousands of fans, yelling and looking on, flooded the outside of the venue waiting for Yeezus to arrive.

In the midst of it all, in Kanye’s best efforts, the rapper tried to find a venue to give the fans a show. On Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat, the artist appears to be on the phone trying to get in contact with Mayor Bill de Blasio for permission to perform for the fans who couldn’t get into Webster Hall.

Shortly after, Kanye pulled up to Webster Hall in a black S550 with Travis Scott and Kim K. Kanye West was riding through the streets of NYC standing outside of the sunroof and greeting fans in a Pope-like manner.

Rumors surfaced that Kanye was gonna pop up at Trump Soho and the sea of fans raced over!

Unfortunately, Kanye was not able to give the fans a show. Kim K confirmed on a snap at around 4am that they were in bed along with a sincere message to the fans that both Webster Hall, and Trump Soho was a bust, as well as, law enforcement not allowing an outdoor performance.

Show or no show, this evening is definitely one for the books. Just like the ending of the movie, it wasn’t the fact that they missed the show, it was the trials and tribulations they went through that made that night lit af!
